<b>Comparative effectiveness of gender affirming hormones on body image, gender dysphoria, trans pride, mental health and quality of life</b> <b>in trans and gender diverse adolescents: a target trial emulation (statistical analysis protocol)</b>

<p dir="ltr">This document details the statistical analysis plan for two observational studies examining the effects of gender-affirming hormones (GAH) on multiple outcomes in trans and gender diverse adolescents in Victoria, Australia. The first study will focus on on gender-related outcomes (body image, gender dysphoria, and gender euphoria) and the secod will focus on mental health and quality of life. In planning the analysis we apply rigorous observational design principles (target trial framework) to improve the quality, validity, and transparency of the evidence.</p>
