Motorized Movement Therapy in Non-ambulant Adults with Cerebral Palsy: A pilot study investigating Cardiometabolic Biomarkers, Health and Wellbeing Outcomes.
A study investigating Cardiometabolic, Health and Wellbeing Outcomes following a 12 week motorised cycling intervention. The MOTOmed is a motorised lower limb cycling machine that is accessed from a wheelchair. This cycling machine is being investigated for its use in people with cerebral palsy who have limited opportunities to move. The research project is aiming to test a physical activity (cycling) for adults with cerebral palsy to investigate if this opportunity for movement is beneficial for health and wellbeing outcomes in adults with CP that are otherwise not moving for the majority of their time.
